Master’s Toolbox: Curriculum Translation

In April, I was privileged to chair the annual Royal Rangers International Council meeting in Turkey (near the ruins of Ephesus). Besides the amazing location with biblical significance, I was overwhelmed by the testimonies of what God is doing in people’s lives as a result of the mentoring ministry of Rangers leaders in 81 nations around the world.

Yes, that’s right—Royal Rangers is active in 81 nations! Isn’t that awesome? But there are approximately 195 nations around the world, and I believe it is in God’s heart to have a thriving ministry in every one of them.

What I said was that to achieve this goal we need to equip leaders with the tools to grow the ministry in their lands. The chief tool they need is Rangers curriculum in their own language so they can understand the message without interpretation or frustration.
