Staff Update

National Royal Rangers Championships

Purpose

• To offer Royal Rangers the opportunity to compete in specialized events at a national level.
• To recognize outstanding accomplishment in specialized events.
• To encourage boys to discover and develop specialized skills or talents outside of the traditional Royal Ranger program.
• Encourage healthy competition with other Royal Rangers from throughout the nation in specialized events
• To encourage outstanding individuals to participate in national competitions sponsored by organizations outside of Royal Rangers.
• To encourage Royal Ranger participation in the Fine Arts and Bible Quiz programs

Annual Events

Postal Competitions

• Local events are held between January 1-October 31 using the specified guidelines.  May be regional, district, or outpost event.
• Local results (scores) are mailed to a central location using official reporting forms where they are compared to other results from throughout the nation.
• Scores are tabulated and awards are posted and sent to individuals as specified by the event guidelines.

Traditional Competitions

• Royal Rangers competing in the Junior Bible Quiz and Teen Bible Quiz competitions.
• Compete under current guidelines
• National finalists will be recognized by the national Royal Rangers office. 
• Certificates and Awards for outstanding accomplishment will be presented to top individuals in each category from the national Royal Rangers Ministry.

Camporama Events

• National championships conducted every 4 years during National Camporama.
  • Pinewood Derby Championship
  • BMX Championship
  • Mountain Bike Chapionship
