Match may be conducted at the District, Section, or Outpost level between the dates of January 1 - October 31.
Match may be conducted indoor or outdoor
Follow all match guidelines and send results with entry fees to NRA Competitive Shooting Division. All entries must be postmarked by November 15.
Results will be tabulated and released after December 31, individual and team awards will be mailed soon after.
Individuals may enter this match only once per calendar year. All competitors must be a member of a current chartered outpost.
Each age group will comprise a category. Eight (8) through fifteen (15) years old may compete in this match. Compete using age attained in the calendar year of competition.
A team match is an unfired match generated by the fired aggregate scores of five (5) participation individuals. The team category will be determined by the age of he oldest team member. Any number of teams may be entered by each Outpost. Individuals may only be entered on one team per year.
Individual awards will be presented from the NRA Competitive Shooting Division for first place in each category; second through fifth place will receive awards based on participation. Additional awards will be provided for each additional ten competitors in a category (age group).
First place teams will receive a team plaque engraved with postal logo and final score. All team members will receive additional team awards.
Second place teams will receive a team plaque engraved with postal logo and final score. All team members will receive additional team awards.
Third place teams will receive a team plaque engraved with postal logo and final score. All team members will receive additional team awards.
Additional team awards will be awarded for every five additional teams
The national Royal Rangers office will present awards for 1st-3rd place in all categories.

Any NRA certified AR-5/10 target may be used. For information on where to purchase official targets, refer to the target supplier’s page.
The official gun for the Match is the Avanti Champion Model 499. By requiring all competitors use the same model gun it will provide an equal balance in equipment. Individual skill should then determine final results. For information on purchasing guns contact Customer service:
